Catherine Tate
Catherine Jane Ford was born on December 5, 1969. She is an English comic and actress. Tate has been nominated seven times for BAFTAs as well as an International Emmy Award, and numerous other awards for her work in BBC sketch comedy series The Catherine Tate Show (2004)-2007. Tate played Donna Noble on Doctor Who's Christmas Special 2006. She then reprised her role as the Tenth Doctor's frequent companion in the fourth season.
After the huge success of The Catherine Tate Show, Tate was a part of Joanie Taylor ("Nan") in the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015) and in the film The Nan Movie (2022). In the year 2011, Tate started a recurring role as Nellie Bertram in the U.S. version of The Office and was an ongoing character until the show ended. The character was Miss Sarah Postern on BBC One's sitcom Big School (2013)-2014 and Magica De Spell on DuckTales (2017-2021). Tate was among six characters she starred in Hard Cell, a Netflix comedy show she wrote and directed with her co-writer.
